"Middle School is committed to every child's personal growth through the development of Achievement, Relationships, Integrity, Service and Excellence as character traits of a student at Caloundra Christian College. I am confident that your children's individual needs will be well catered for by our caring and dedicated staff in an environment which is conducive to successful learning and fosters the values of Christian education." Mr Andrew Priaulx - Head of Secondary School.
Middle School creates a smooth transition from Primary to Senior schooling, catering for this unique stage of a child’s development. We realise the adolescent years can be challenging. Holding children’s attention and academic focus takes Christian teachers and staff who are dedicated to knowing their students, as well as their circumstances, interests, strengths and needs. By this, the Middle School program seeks to help students understand and act in the world in which they live from a Christian perspective.
During these first years of Secondary schooling each child is encouraged to discover their God-given potential. Students explore a wide range of subjects, developing work and study habits vital for their Senior schooling years.
Students enjoy a varied curriculum of core subjects along with a wide range of electives. The latter enables students to make more informed decisions when making Senior school subject choices leading to academic or vocational pathways.
