CLEANERS
Permanent Part-Time
We are currently seeking Cleaner(s) to join our team in a Permanent Part-Time capacity.
Position Details
- 20–25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday availability required
- 4-hour shifts
- Morning and/or afternoon shifts available
Ideal for someone who enjoys variety, consistency, and the quiet satisfaction of leaving things sparkling before everyone else arrives.
Caloundra Christian College is a Prep to Year 12 independent Christian school located on the Sunshine Coast. We are a team of committed educators and support staff who believe students learn best when they feel safe, respected, genuinely engaged, and appropriately challenged through purposeful, creative, and differentiated learning opportunities.
The successful applicant(s) will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across College facilities and grounds.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar role.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to carry out cleaning duties in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- A current Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one through Queensland’s Working with Children Check.
- A Christian commitment consistent with the College’s ethos.

The Impact You’ll Make
As a vital part of our Learning Support area, you will work side-by-side with teachers to bring learning programs to life. Your day-to-day will involve:

Empowering Students: Working 1-on-1 or in small groups to help students master new skills and stay engaged.

Creating Inclusive Classrooms: Implementing specialized literacy/numeracy programs and modifying work to ensure every child can participate.

Being a Role Model: Developing positive, trusting relationships that help students feel safe and motivated to learn.

Collaborative Support: Partnering with teachers to prepare materials and facilitate lessons that spark curiosity.
