Four decades

of dedication

In 1983, our founders, CityLife Baptist Church, established a clear mission for the College:  To provide quality Christ-centred education to children of the Sunshine Coast, developing in them strong foundations for life and learning.

Our commitment to this mission is just as strong today as it was when the College was founded.

Over our 40-year history, staff have dedicated themselves to the care, nurture and education of our students.

40 years providing quality Christ-centred education on the Sunshine Coast

In 2002, Caloundra Christian College was chosen as one of only three independent schools in Queensland to participate in the Preparing for School (Prep year) trial. In preparation for full time Prep and to increase the availability of Christian Education to more children in the area, a new teaching area for pre-school aged children was designed and built at the entrance of the college.

Our College outgrew this building and 20 years on an exciting and innovative new early years precinct was designed.  This building has won a number of significant architectural awards and is a wonderful environment for students to flourish.  God continues to bless our College and with continued increased enrolments we are now gearing up for further building works including an upper primary precinct and a design precinct.

As a graduate from this school, I can say from experience that I was empowered and taught by incredible teachers who personally believed in me as a person, with no hidden agenda except to see me flourish.

Mr Pollock always strives to make sure our daughter is coping with school socially and emotionally, as well as taking time to monitor her academic performance. We love that he is aware of her wellbeing beyond the assigned school work.

I love CalCC because we get to learn about Jesus and every Friday we get to sing about him at Junction. I like this school because on your first day you get a buddy and you never play alone. my final reason why is we get to learn about the foundations for life and the foundations for learning.
